Elopement - Customized Ceremony

I am usually a highly sensitive person. I tend to overthink stuff and easily get overwhelmed to the point where I withdraw from everything for days.

We started discussing the ceremony while I was preparing for my defence exam. It was already a quite stressful time for me but Francesca was accommodating and very patient.

Reflecting on our wedding day, I remember her sparkling kind eyes and beautiful calming words as she was performing the ceremony. It all felt truly magical!

She also gave us tips for photography spots in liberty village and helped us through the application process for expediting the wedding certificate.

Francesca officiated our small, intimate wedding in the party room of our home, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We got married in December 2025, and choosing Francesca as our wedding officiant was one of the best decisions we made. Our wedding was simple, intimate, and very much an elopement-style celebration and Francesca made it incredibly special.

We got legally married today in Toronto and Francesca did our ceremony. What a lovely woman!! She asked us a few questions beforehand and did the most beautiful, intimate and personal wedding ceremony for us. What a kind and lovely person.

Francesca was so amazing and we were blown away with how special she made our cere-mini! From the moment we first spoke to her, we felt connected to her and knew she was the perfect person to be our officiant (and the extra bonus that sealed the deal for us was that she also loves dogs and understood the importance for us to have our fur baby included in the process!). She was able to immediately grasp who we are as a couple and our vision for the cere-mini. What she delivered exceeded all our expectations - we could not have imagined how special, heartfelt, and meaningful the experience ended up being for us and our loved ones who were there. She also helped us out a lot in planning for the cere-mini. We wanted more of our family and friends there with us than her usual location could hold, and she helped suggest alternative locations, eventually finding “Something in the Water” brewery for us - which was a perfect spot for what we wanted and allowed us to have our dog Zoey join us to carry our rings :) From start to finish our experience working with Francesca was absolutely amazing and was a big part of what made our day so special and unforgettable for us! Francesca was so helpful throughout the process, from the time I applied until the day we officiated the wedding. She is a very warm and kind person--just the kind of energy you'd want at a wedding :) Her puppy, Zoya, was such a delightful presence too! We had such a positive experience with Francesca marrying us. The timeline from conception to wedding day was very short & the process overwhelm was so much for me. Francesca gently & SO patiently guided us along & I'm very appreciative for that.

Francesca organized a simple yet tasteful ceremony for us. The ceremony totally fit the tradition, but didn't feel like what you saw in a movie before. This was exactly what we wanted, and Francesca understood our needs deeply from our first meeting.

From the practical point of view, Francesca knew the building layout pretty well, and helped us make the necessary adjustments to the setting. She directed the guests and ran the ceremony perfectly, ensuring every guest felt like an active participant.

We knew that setting up the day of our dreams in such a short amount of time would be a challenge. We left Francesca a message on a Monday, hoping she could at least fit us into a documentation-only slot for Saturday. Recognizing the urgency of our situation, she quickly got in touch to talk us through immediately applying for a marriage license and to check off anything else we might need. She was also fully transparent with her schedule and reassured us that if any complications came up, we could work things out.

We were able to get a spot for our license in time - but then as the day drew closer and we grew more excited about it, we asked Francesca if we could have a proper ceremini to celebrate it. She was fully flexible with this change, and even had several conversations with us to talk through different possible venues and logistics arrangements.

Eventually, the venue we decided on was the one she recommended. She gave us a few other pointers to make sure things would be set up for us properly, and helped with a few added touches to make the occasion even more special. On the day itself, she conducted things beautifully, making sure all of our friends in attendance could see and hear the ceremini and the wonderful passages she delivered that told our story and the future we were ready for. And she was extremely pleasant throughout, socializing well with us and all of our friends to partake and add to the cheer.

We planned our elopement on very short notice back in December of 2020. Given the pandemic status, we arranged to do it on our front porch with a few friends.
