In-Depth Vision Meeting

A month before the ceremony, we will set up a virtual meeting for me to learn about your love story, your vision for the wedding and the ceremony specifics  For example: Are you writing your own vows? Would you like any special additions, such as hand fasting, dove release or family/religious traditions? Do you have a special poem or quotes you would like to add? This meeting is to ensure that your ceremony flows eloquently, is personalized and heartfelt! As I am a clergy with CIMM, Metaphysical Minister, we can speak about love and marriage or add bits from your family's cultures or religious background. This is all about make your event as magical or simple as you'd like!

Virtual Walk Through

About a week before your wedding we will do a walk through to make sure the vows are to your liking and logistics in are place so the wedding events will flow as smooth as possible.

On the day of the wedding I will arrive about 30 minutes before the scheduled time and meet you at our pre-determined location on the premises. Be ready for magic!

Note: To avoid last minute inconveniences, please ensure you bring your own pens, the rings, the Marriage License in the Government Envelope and any other ceremonial materials/props you may need.

Following the ceremony, we will complete the necessary paperwork with your witnesses and I will submit your completed license to the Marriage Office within 48 hours. You can apply for your Marriage Certificate online anytime after the wedding and will receive it within 6 months (currently the marriage office is very busy). Should you need the Marriage Certificate expedited for any reason I can personally guide you through the process.

Memorable & Heartwarming

Francesca is a wonderful officiant who is very professional, kind and warm. From the moment we reached out to her, she was prompt in her responses and was excellent in her communication throughout; days to leading to , on the day of and afterwards. She is very thoughtful in her delivery and we both felt so comfortable with her officiating on the day of. We received many inquiries on who she is because our guests were so impressed with how she kept the guests engaged, consistently mindful of a diverse guest list, and highlighted us by getting to know us quite a bit before hand. She is simply great at this and we would whole heartedly recommend her. Thank you to Francesca for understanding the importance of her role on such an important day to us and facilitating a memorable moment affectionately.

Outdoor Wedding of our Dreams

Francesca gave us exactly what we needed in a ceremony. She was incredibly easy to work with, kind, fun and laid back.

We asked for our ceremony to be short and sweet, and did she ever deliver. Perfect, sweet and fun.

We had lots of laughs, lots of love and best of all, she jumped out of the way for our first kiss photo!

Highly recommend!

Francesca was the officiant for our wedding in December. She made the ceremony feel very intimate, personal and joyous. Very happy to have her as part of our big day! Highly recommend!

Ellen & Bob
Bob and Elle Wedding Note

Francesca was a perfect choice for Bob and I. My parents knew Francesca previously, and the moment my Mum suggested her services as our wedding Officiant it clicked. I wanted someone that understood who Bob and I were at the core. We are simple, and we wanted our ceremony to reflect that - we wanted unique, cozy, loving vibes and Francesca nailed this ambiance for us. Down to the dress she chose, her energy and her vibe fit seamlessly into our wedding day. She helped us achieve a spiritual and meaningful connection to our guests as well as the land we stood on. She took note of family members that have passed on and were not able to be there, and she discussed the furry love of our lives, our cat Kingston. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and Francesca was an integral part of that.

HIGHLY recommend! Wonderful experience!

Francesca did a wonderful job planning and officiating our wedding ceremony! I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The ceremony was so personal, fun, and loving. From the moment we first spoke on the phone, she made us feel completely at ease with her kindness and warmth. Her energy is infectious!
I love how she took the time to get to know us, which allowed her to incorporate many personal & special touches.

Thank you for making our wedding ceremony so memorable, Francesca!

You are welcome to reach out anytime for questions or concerns about anything related to your special day at no extra cost. If I can help you, it would be an honour and a privilege to support you.

1. You can pick the licence up from any City Hall in Ontario within 90 days of the ceremony. The newest policy is to make an appointment before you go in. Only one applicant needs to go, and must have the partner's original pieces of ID and signatures on the form.

2. Fill in the form before you go to City Hall.

3. You will need to bring 2 pieces of government-issued identification for each person getting married. One piece of identification must include your photo. These are the documents that are permitted:

- Government-issued birth certificate, including any change of name certificates.

- Valid passport.

- Record of immigrant landing.

- Canadian Citizenship Card.

- Valid Driver’s Licence.

- Valid Ontario Photo Card.

- Certificate of Divorce.

You can go online to apply for your marriage certificate the day of your wedding onwards. I always suggest getting the long (full copy of the license) and short (certificate) forms because you never know when you might need them. Currently it can take up to 12 weeks to receive the certificate, so you would not want to be left waiting if you needed it.

Expediting a marriage certificate is possible, however, the processing time can vary depending upon your needs and the happening at the marriage office. I am more than happy to support you through these steps if you need. I have clients with medical emergencies and immigration needs receive their certificate within 2-3 weeks. If there is an urgent need, we will do all we can to speed up the process.

It is so important to ensure that your wedding officiant is actually registered with the Ministry of Ontario. Here is a link to the government website where you can find my official registration.

Being registered with a Ministry as a reverend, clergy or a chaplain does not guarantee that the person is registered with the province. My personal designation is a Minister with the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry (CIMM) whose head office is in British Columbia, but I am only registered in Ontario. However, I can obtain a temporary license to perform a wedding in other provinces.
